Due to fall break, our registration was low for our INM Lock-In. As of yesterday, we had to decide to cancel the event. However, we will celebrate on 10/13 during The Hub because we saved close to 100 lives. It will be a fun time, so we hope you can make it!

There will be no Hub meeting this week,10/6. Have a great fall break everyone! God bless!

Ten dollars can save a person's life from malaria through the organization Imagine No Malaria. We are having a coin competition to see who can raise more money to fight malaria - girls or boys?

How to Play

1. Each team has its own money jar in which to collect as many points as possible.
The Strategy: Put pennies and paper money in your team's jar and put silver-colored coins in your opponent's jar.
  • Penny = one positive point
  • Paper money = positive value ($1 bill = 100 points)
  • Nickel = five negative points
  • Dime = ten negative points
  • Quarter = 25 negative points
  • Coin dollar = 100 negative points

2. Money can be added to the jars at these times:  (customize this for your church)
  • Sunday, September 1, in room 111 during Announcements
  • Sundays, September 8 - 29, on the patio after worship
  • Sundays, September 8 - 29, during Hub
  • Friday, October 4, at the start of Imagine No Malaria retreat

3. You may donate your own money and ask others to donate. Be sure to recruit adults and children at church to put money in your team's jar each week. If your neighbors, friends, or relatives want to donate, ask them to write a check to "Imagine No Malaria."

4. We will tally the points each week and post and which team is winning.
(So far, BOYS at the HUB are up by about 10,500 points!)

5. The competition ends October 4. A special prize will be awarded to the winning team (girls or boys) at the Imagine No Malaria retreat!
